Textiles final piece

I feel the final outcome of my textile piece, ‘Down’  was successful and it really reflects a sense of desperation and melancholy through the hands reaching up. The grey denim and the usage of the green blended ink around the hands further connotes this, and adds almost a sense of illness or pestilence.
My inspiration for this piece came from seeing other small artists using acrylic paints on garments (mostly denim) and I felt it was something different than reworking garments in more common ways.
